Many already have \u201cno phone\u201d rules, but teachers continue to face daily battles over when and where devices can be used.<\/p>\n<p>As one headteacher put it, banning phones \u201cmakes perfect sense in theory, but it\u2019s almost impossible to police consistently.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The UK Picture: Near\u2011Universal Rules, Mixed Results<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Nearly every school in England already limits mobile use in some form.
